  1. BACHKHOA - VIETNAMESE ENCYCLOPEDIA V1.0
  2. A program to read and learn about the history and culture of the Vietnamese,
  3. an easy and effective way to improve spelling and vocabulary.  Not only are
  4. the study words alphabetized, but are also listed by categories.  If the
  5. student would like to learn about words associated with items found around 
  6. the house, simply select that category.  It's also useful for Vietnamese
  7. students who are learning English, French, and Spanish.

  9. The file BACHKHOA.ZIP should be copied to the same directory either to a hard
  10. disk or a floppy disk.  If you have a hard disk, copy the files to it, but
  11. first make a sub-directory by typing:
  12. <COMMANDS>                       <Explanations>
  13. c: (Enter)                       log on to C drive
  14. cd \ (Enter)                     go to root directory
  15. md bachkhoa (Enter)              make BACHKHOA sub-directory
  16. cd bachkhoa (Enter)              go to BACHKHOA sub-directory
  17.  
  18. Now you can copy the floppy disk that contains Bachkhoa files 
  19. to the hard disk in BACHKHOA sub-directory by typing:
  20. copy a:*.* c: (Enter)            copies files from drive A
  21.  
  22. If you are copying from the drive B, type:
  23. copy b:*.* c: (Enter)
  24.  
  25. (Of course the above copy was meant for the files that were "unzipped"
  26. onto a floppy disk)
  27.  
  28. When you want to start the program, log on to the disk/directory
  29. that contains the files:
  30. a: (Enter)                       or
  31. b: (Enter)                       for a floppy disk operations or
  32.  
  33.                   or
  34.  
  35. c: (Enter)                       for a hard disk
  36. cd \bachkhoa (Enter) 
  37.  
  38. Then type:
  39. bachkhoa (Enter)                 starts BACHKHOA

  51. We distribute The Bách Khoa Vietnamese Encyclopedia with a unique marketing
  52. approach we call user supported software.  The diskette with programs can be
  53. freely copied and shared.  We ask you to help us distribute Bách Khoa by
  54. sharing copies of the diskette with others and send your Vietnamese articles
  55. to your Vietnamese Church / Buddhist Temple.  You can sell or give away
  56. copies of the Bách Khoa diskette.
